To this day, we are losing forests. With the total forest area maintained, the integrity of forests are actual breaking down. In our standard, logging activities are considered 'green' as long as more trees are planted than harvested: the idea of sustainaibility relying on a numeral equivalence. Current model of sustainbility compares the consumption to production, and to that point we now have many more monocultural young tree farms than  original reforested forests.An equation that increases the monetization of the nature is itself problematic.
